Wanjiru

My name is Wanjiru Makanga Munene, I attended one of your talks in Nairobi, Kenya, and since then you have faithfully sent me "The Monday Memo" every week. THANK YOU.

This is the first time I am writing to you - to send you and your family my sincere condolences on the going on ahead of your mother - and to rejoice with you that you can look at her life with pride and joy - being at peace because you know that she has only preceded you - and you can say with confidence "till we meet again".

My mother went to be with the Lord on January 6th 2001 - and though no two such experiences can ever be identical - I feel I can relate. I was touched by your story - the last one and this one - I am humbled that you should so freely share your innermost experience with such a wide audience. I just want you to know that I consider it a privilege to be part of the group you share this with.

God bless you, give you His comfort, and His peace which passes all understanding. As you shed a tear, know that you, and through you, your mum, continue to touch many many hearts and lives - some that you will never know.

Sharon

Your memos are always an inspiration. I am sorry to learn about your mum’s passing on. May her dear soul rest in peace! It is indeed a testimony that God orchestrated everything to happen at the time it did. You could have been in Africa for sure, but God made all things work together for good. Thanks for sharing about your mum and the legacy she leaves behind.

Cynthia

She has Faithfully ran her race and I pray by God's grace we also faithfully run ours in the name of Jesus. Dear Dr John,

We are sorry to hear the loss of your mother. You did all things well with your Mum and God honoured your commitment to her. May the memory of her continue to inspire you.

Proverbs 1:8,9 Listen my son to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.

Shawn

Sorry to hear about your mom, but glad to hear the details of her transition. Sounds like both of you had peace during the process.

Blessings

Sorry for the passing away of your mother. in fact, from what i read in your mail, we know for sure she is already with the Lord in heaven.

It is always wonderful to hear from you. you have been a great source of inspiration to my life right from the day i first met you in Johannesburg when you visited my church, His People, 2002. I'm from Nigeria, and i have since left South Africa in 2003 back home after my studies.

Thanks for your encouraging and inspiring newsletter.

May God continue to lift you up higher and higher.

Remain Blessed.

Dr. Stanko,

Thank you so much for your free Monday Memo. I just wanted to let you know how it has blessed me in my walk with God. Also, he has used you wonderfully as one of my coaches, mentors and board of directors for my life's purpose. Lastly, in regards to your Mother's homegoing, I have been praying for you and your family.

You have been a great blessing to me, and God has used you tremendously to encourage me to consider possibilities, dreams and aspirations that I would never have considered or pursued.

Georgeline
